Birth of BGStudios

On March 21st, 2008, Greg and I (I being Ben) were at my house. We had ABSOLUTELY nothing to do. So we decided to play with Legos and build creations. We did not ,however, know that 5 minutes later I would think of making a stop motion video and Greg would think of a stop motion studios for us to have. We decided to call it BGStudios. (BG=Ben & Greg). It was to be the stop motion corporation that is part od IrrationaLThinkinG Studios; which is another studios we are a part of. IrrationaLThinkinG was created and put together by me and Joanna. The next day, my friend Owen came to my house to play. He was instantly interested in helping us and we went to work on our first stop motion. "Lego Violence" is what we called it. It was a simple scene where a storm trooper shot another storm trooper and the Grim Reaper came to take the body away. It seemed simple. But it was not easy at first. The constant moving of the camera whenever you clicked the "take the pic" button. Oh, but Sony did not let us down. The camera and stop motion worked out well and was added to YouTube at around midnight (it was my first time using Windows Movie Maker). We had done the first step to the prosperity of BGStudios! Rise To Prosperity

Although we are not SO famous now, we were even less famous when our first 3 videos came on YouTube. We were struggling like most YouTube users do when they first came to youtube.com. Anyhow, we were in need of viewers and subscribers. So we started what we liked to call "advertising with nothing". We were just going to school and going on to our friends about BGStudios and told them to tell their friends. Of course, most either forgot or just didn't want to see the videos. But, the ones who listened to what we said gave us a golden ticket! We were excited and happy to see the viewer count rise. Some friends even made accounts on YouTube and subscribed to our channel. Then, when "Funny Shorts" hit our prosperity just jumped about 10%! Of course it was easy to find but we know that they loved it according to the 4 star ratings! In just two months it actually got 1,447 viewers! We never made it past the 1,000 mark before!!! We celebrated by drinking Arizona Iced Tea, listening to music and constructing Lego creations!

Hits!

Our videos became hits in some small parts of YouTube. Great animators like Nathan Wells and Forrestfire101 were and still are what inspires BGStudios to keep on going! Now, our account has 129 subscribers and we are never going to give up on stop motion.

Contests!?

Yes, our first contest was started May 18th, 2008. First prize was 4 subscribers and your video being featured on our channel for 2 weeks. second prize was 2 subscribers. The contest was set to end June 16. We were shocked to actually get 24 video responses!!!The 1st place winner ended up being blingblongstudios with their first and i think it is their best stop motion entitled C.A.T. It was about a killer cat and we were surprised to see the smoothness, sound effects, and creativity put into it.

We at BGStudios Inc. need to tell you important news. BGStudios is becoming more and more popular every week. Although our first partner application failed it did not let us down.We are proud to tell you that we now have 129 Subscribers. We are so happy. Nowadays our videos are getting at least 100 views in 3-5 days. We never knew BGStudios would even come this far on youtube. So happy day and please subscribe!
